Self-Dicipline in the Martial Arts - Woodstock GA

Elbert Hubbard, one of the most prolific writers in American history, once said, "Self-discipline is the ability to do what you should do, when you should do it, whether you feel like it or not".

Self-Discipline is one of the valuable skills I personally have received from my training in the Martial Arts. Not only has the arts taught me discipline but it has given me an environment to continually sharpen and develop this skill. I believe there are levels of self-discipline and the longer you work at it the skill the better / stronger it becomes. Like anything you practice on a regular basis you will improve that skill. The martial arts school also supplies like-minded people to surround yourself with and create an environment and a support system for your journey.

I believe Self-discipline is the key to personal greatness.  With self-discipline, the average person can rise as far and fast as his talents can take him.  This is something that I am fortunate enough to witness on a regular basis in the classroom. If you are fortunate enough to belong to a good martial arts Academy you will not only pro-your physical skills and abilities you will also have an opportunity to develop yourself on a deeper level.

Get on the mat!
