Martial Arts, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and MMA Woodstock GA Towne Lake GA

One of the new programs that I have been working on for the school is a tactical training program that is based on the material that I teach on a regular basis around the United States to various law enforcement agencies and SWAT teams. I have had the tremendous opportunity in the last 2 to 3 years to do much more tactical defensive training with various law enforcement agencies. This has given me a great opportunity to see defensive tactics and self-defense from a different angle. Through this experience I started putting together a civilian-based program that I can teach here at the school in Woodstock Georgia. A lot of this information has also had a tremendous influence on a lot of the other programs that we teach here at the Atlanta Martial Arts Center.

I personally believe that if the head of a martial arts school or defensive tactics program is not continually striving to stay on the cutting edge of his industry he is falling behind. If you are considering joining or becoming part of a program this is an important thing to take into consideration when you go to a school or Academy. Ask how active the head instructor is in his search throughout the industry for the most up-to-date information. The belief that once you have learned to a certain point in your system that you no longer have to go any farther is nonsense. Just like anything else in the world all information continues to grow and evolve, martial arts is no different it is constantly changing and evolving. Knowing this it is important to align yourself with someone who is staying in the industry and constantly seeking for new information.
