I am in Sterling Virginia today at the Pedro Sauer Brazilian jujitsu Academy. I am fortunate enough to be spending the day with Master Pedro Sauer in order to finish up a tactical arrest and control certification under him. The school and myself have been doing a lot of law enforcement/personal protection training this last year and it looks like next year will have even more. With this in mind I have been speaking with professor about finishing up this certification. The information not only will make the law-enforcement training programs better but they will also spill over into the student programs at the school. It is important for new information and knowledge to continually be coming into the school otherwise that school is a dead school. All too often this is the case in the martial arts industry.
