The Keysi Fighting Method (KFM) is an amazing multi-dimensional journey into the world of self-discovery. KFM was born in the 1950's, therefore, old and primitive traditions do not bind it, nor do they limit the never-ending process of evolution. If we are to truly grow and develop as human beings then we must first break free from all past conditioning. Learning is non-accumulative, therefore, we cannot store learning as we can knowledge. Learning occurs on a daily basis and once we have learned something, it becomes knowledge which is now of the past. KFM is an art form dedicated to the study and investigation of survival of the modern day streets. It is in a state of constant evolution, never standing still and fueled by research and investigation. You must allow yourself to evolve and grow on a daily basis if you are to truly absorb the essence of KFM. KFM lives in the blood and not in the collection of techniques. One thing that sets KFM apart from other systems is its study of multiple opponent scenario training. Beginning in the first few classes you are trained to think on a multiple opponent basis.

KFM will start to train the Predator mind set that is needed to survive in a hostile situation. Survival is the consequence of predatory instinct that each of us possesses. The predator alert is universal in its approach to both offensive and defensive actions in KFM.

Gracie (Brazilian) Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a highly effective self-defense system of ground fighting. It is designed to allow a smaller, weaker person to defend his or her self in a real world situation that goes to the ground. Statistics say 90 to 95% of all violent attacks and street fights end up on the ground, where Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is most effective.

Founded by Grandmaster Helio Gracie, who at 135 pounds altered the techniques of traditional Jiu-Jitsu to depend more on leverage and mechanical advantage over strength and speed. Jiu-Jitsu will teach you to use take downs, hold downs, joint locks and chokes, to control and submit your opponent.

BJJ also includes training in standing self defense against punching, kicking, grabs and holds as well as various weapons like the gun and knife. In addition to self-defense, it is an incredible physical workout that will increase your strength and flexibility as it gets you in great shape.

Jiu-Jitsu is also a fantastic method to improve your physical fitness as you learn an effective and proven self defense. The average student looses 10-15 pounds of body fat in the first 3 months of training. It improves your overall strength, endurance and flexibility.

The Atlanta Martial Arts Center is a proud affiliate of the Pedro Sauer Jiu-Jitsu Association. founded by Professor Pedro Sauer, 8th degree black belt under Grandmaster Helio Gracie and Rickson Gracie. He was the first black belt awarded from Grandmaster Helio who was not named Gracie. In the year of 2000, Pedro received the Abu Dahbi Combat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Instructor of the year. Professor Sauer is regarded by many to be one of the most technical Jiu-Jitsu instructors anywhere.
The Atlanta Martial Arts Center's founder Sifu Alan Baker is a Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 1st black belt under Professor Pedro Sauer and is one of only five certified affiliate instructors in the state of Georgia. AMAC Is also the reagonal training center.
